IT consulting services and the support that follows the advice

Iniksha Technologies provides IT consulting services to businesses that need a technical opinion with nothing being sold behind it, plus ongoing IT support with response times written into the agreement, for teams without a full in-house department.

When to bring in an IT consultant

  • A vendor has quoted a large number and you cannot judge it.

An independent review usually pays for itself in the first negotiation.

  • You are about to choose a platform you will live with for a decade.

ERP, CRM, cloud provider: the cost of choosing wrong is measured in years.

  • The build-versus-buy argument is stuck.

Both sides have a case and neither has the numbers.

  • Nobody owns technology decisions.

Things get bought, partially implemented, and quietly abandoned.

  • Support depends on one person.

When they are on leave, the business holds its breath.

  • A customer sent a security questionnaire.

You need answers, and then you need the gaps behind the answers fixed.

IT consulting services we provide

Technology roadmap and strategy

A 12-24 month plan tying technology spend to business outcomes: what to fix now, what to defer, what to retire, and what it costs. Written so a finance head can read it, not just an engineer.

Architecture review and technology audit

An independent review of your existing systems (architecture, code quality, infrastructure, security posture and operational risk) delivered as a prioritised findings report with effort estimates against each item.

Build-versus-buy analysis

A costed comparison of building custom against buying and configuring, over a three-to-five-year horizon including licences, implementation, customisation and exit cost. We have no stake in the outcome.

Vendor and platform selection

Requirement definition, shortlisting, structured evaluation, reference checks and commercial review. We are not a reseller and take no vendor commissions, which is the entire point of asking us.

System integration

Making existing systems work together (ERP to e-commerce, CRM to accounting, legacy database to modern application) through APIs, middleware or scheduled synchronisation, with error handling and reconciliation built in rather than bolted on.

Security and compliance review

Access control review, vulnerability assessment, data handling and retention practice, backup verification, and a remediation plan ordered by risk rather than by ease.

Digital transformation planning

The unglamorous version: identify the manual processes costing the most hours, sequence them by payback, and automate them one at a time. No transformation programme, no eighteen-month roadmap before anything improves.

Ongoing IT support and managed services

  • Managed IT support

Day-to-day support for applications and infrastructure on a monthly retainer: issue resolution, user support, change requests and coordination with your other vendors, so one party is accountable when something breaks.

  • Application maintenance and AMC

IT AMC services for software already in production: bug fixes, security patching, dependency and framework updates, performance tuning and minor enhancements under an agreed monthly allocation.

  • Infrastructure monitoring and incident response

Proactive monitoring with alerting, incident response inside agreed hours, root-cause analysis after the fact, and preventive fixes so the same incident does not return monthly.

  • Backup, recovery and continuity

Backup configuration, verified restore testing, documented recovery procedures, and a continuity plan that has been rehearsed rather than merely written.

  • Technology advisory retainer

A standing arrangement for businesses that mainly need someone to ask. Monthly review call, plus availability for decisions as they come up.

Response times, written down

Every support agreement names its response times. Indicative tiers:

PriorityDefinitionResponse target
P1: Critical Production down, business stopped Named in your agreement
P2: High Major function broken, workaround exists Named in your agreement
P3: Medium Limited impact, work continues Named in your agreement
P4: Low Minor issue, cosmetic, or a question Named in your agreement

Support hours: Monday-Saturday, 10:00-19:00 IST as standard. Extended and after-hours cover available on agreement.

How to engage us

One-off consulting engagement

A defined question with a defined answer: an audit, a selection exercise, a build-versus-buy review. Fixed scope, fixed fee, written deliverable.

Monthly support retainer

Ongoing cover with an agreed monthly hour allocation and defined response times. Unused hours and overages are handled transparently, not quietly.

Fractional technology lead

Senior technical leadership for a few days a month (vendor management, architecture decisions, hiring input and roadmap ownership) for businesses that need the judgement without the full-time salary.

IT consulting and support FAQs

How is IT consulting different from IT support?

Consulting answers "what should we do": strategy, architecture, selection, audit. Support answers "keep it running": monitoring, fixes, patching, response times. Most clients need both, in that order.

Do you resell software or hardware?

No. We take no vendor commissions. That independence is what makes a platform recommendation from us worth reading.

Can you support software your team did not build?

Yes. We audit it first, report honestly on its condition, and then quote for support. Where a system is genuinely beyond safe maintenance, we will tell you that instead of billing you monthly to hold it together.

Do you work with our existing IT team?

Usually, yes. Most engagements supplement an internal team rather than replace it, covering the specialisms they do not have, or the hours they do not have.

What does an IT AMC cost?

It depends on the estate: number of applications and servers, required hours, and response commitments. We scope it against your actual environment and quote a fixed monthly figure with the inclusions listed explicitly.

Do you offer on-site support?

In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) and nearby, yes, on agreed schedules. Elsewhere in India, support is remote with on-site visits where the engagement justifies them.
